Feathered Flowers: Crimson Columbine

I got the idea to start what may become a series-fictional birds based upon certain flowers.
Apologies for my relative inactivity; I use the dwindling amount of free time I have to play video games these days
Since it is such a hassle to find good reference pictures, I'm considering making myself less dependent on them. This means the quality of what I make may dip a bit as I get better at painting from imagination.
As such a bird does not exist, I obviously did not paint it based on any reference.
