I wanted to apologize to you all for being so absent. I should have said something instead of just disappearing. I'm thankful that a lot of people I knew are still around (I appreciate the birthday wishes these past few years!), and I feel bad that I could not keep up communications. I used to insist to myself that I must reply to everything. I want to state as fact now that I cannot. I don't expect to really return to dA (or... z now, I guess) in the near future; it just seemed like I should say something. My left hand is kind of broken right now (cut tendon) and, if I figure out this new UI (wow is it different), I think I can/have time to (lukewarm-ly) stick around long enough to tie up some loose ends. Now that I've done something here I think I can make periodic visits more easily after that, albeit probably in long intervals. I got him on the 12th. He was quite frightened at first and did little other than stand where he was placed and act strangely.
